I haven’t blogged in a while.

I understand that technically tweeting and twitter are considered micro-blogging. However I am pretty sure you know that although they are both considered to be blogging, they are still very different.

It’s not that in the past I have been lost for words. In fact, it’s the complete opposite. I find that I am free to be random and less eloquent when I’m restricted to 140 characters. It’s amazingly wonderful and addictive. I shared more, but at the same time I didn’t.

I have been told  in the past that I’m a really good writer and that people really loved reading my blogs. Because of what happened to me recently, I have decided that maybe it’s time for me to start writing again.

My first friend I met physically from the online world remains to this day one of my closest friends, Lex. We funnily enough met on a Lord of the Rings fan forum that no longer exists. When I flew up to Sydney for a gig that I won tickets to, she let me stay with her and we’ve been great friends ever since. Lex. is only just one amazing gain and experience of embracing the online world.

Ever since I’ve embraced twitter, I’ve had a twitter friend now good friend, Sean send me an iPod, because his head exploded that THEN I had never owned one. An amazing friend of mine from the UK, Rob sent me Limited Edition Royal Mail Andy Murray Gold Medalist Stamps because he knew how much I admire Andy Murray as a tennis player. Whenever I buy things online and the places don’t ship to Australia, my amazing friend in the US, Joseph helps me out with getting my packages. He is a very generous, kind, understanding individual, and has a big heart. I would not have met him if it weren’t for twitter. And I’m glad that I did.

I could say I’ve been a trending topic on twitter three times {which is the truth}, but that’s not really my greatest achievement. I believe that my greatest achievement would be organising flashmobs with my Facebook group, STEFASAURUS PRODUCTIONS {probably another story}. I’m starting to go off topic here…

I guess, what I’m trying to say is, the greatest thing I’ve ever gained from embracing the online world is meeting my soulmate, my best friend, my penguin; Grant. ♥

I never thought I’d find love online {definitely will be posting a separate entry about our story}, and I feel that this journey for me so far has been amazing. I can’t believe I’m Australia’s Biggest Tweeter, it’s crazy. There’s also this second article!

I’ve always been aware of who I am, and I guess it’s not necessarily me that has “changed” to suit the online world. Instead, it is the online world that like Cinderella’s glass slipper, is a perfect fit for me.

So yes, I’m blogging again. About whatever happens to me, about the things I love, about being in love, what’s on my mind and my adventures. I understand I’ve taken so long to come back to the blogging world. I’ve been distracted. But I know there is no excuse.

To those that were my loyal readers in the past, as well as to my new audience that have only just stumbled upon me, please forgive me for taking so long.
