By now if you haven’t seen Frozen, then I don’t know what you have been doing with your life. The original animated version of Disney’s Frozen came out in 2013 and became a phenomenon. Even though it’s been 4 years since the film was released, Frozen has managed to remain relevant with a short film, another short film to come, Frozen 2 on the way, a Broadway musical in the works and a Disney On Ice production.
I have been to many productions of Disney on Ice since I was a kid and annually for the last 4 years. I believe Frozen On Ice is the best production I have seen. Not only because Frozen is the only Disney On Ice production that makes sense, but the story is adapted to a live performance so flawlessly. The narrative may have been changed somewhat to adapt to the live production by switching some scenes around, but the show is still very much the Frozen that we fell in love with on screen.
With Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Hans played by Olympic skaters, Disney On Ice: Frozen is an impressive production that will please not only the kids, but any avid Disney fan. And remember this, you are never too old for the things you love. Especially when it comes to anything Disney.
Disney on Ice is touring Australia from June 29th to July 23rd.
