Live Nation has today announced that iconic rock band Evanescence will play a second show in Melbourne on their forthcoming arena tour of Australia and New Zealand to meet the overwhelming demand for tickets, with their first date now sold out!
This new show is confirmed for Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday 10 March.
The Australian leg of the tour, presented by Triple M, will commence at Perth’s RAC Arena on Friday 5 March, before heading to AEC Arena in Adelaide on Sunday 7 March, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 March, Afterpay Arena in Sydney on Friday 12 March and concluding at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 16 March. It will then head to New Zealand for an exclusive show at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday 20 March.
Mastercard cardholders have special access to presale tickets in Australia. Mastercard presale starts Wednesday 1 July at 12pm and ends Thursday 2 July at 12pm. Evanescence last toured Australia in late 2025, as special guest on Metallica’s M72 World Tour, when they also played some intimate, small-capacity side shows. Prior to that, they celebrated 20 years of debut album Fallen with a tour in August 2023. Now comes the opportunity for fans to see Evanescence in their full live glory, playing a vast array of material from Fallen, including defining singles like “Bring Me to Life,” “Going Under,” and “My Immortal”, through to the new album Sanctuary, which features the global hits, “Afterlife” and “Who Will You Follow.”

ABOUT EVANESCENCE
When Evanescence stormed onto the scene in the early 2000s, they introduced a sound that captured the world’s attention. Their debut album Fallen became one of the most critically and commercially successful releases of the 21st century, earning two Grammy Awards and achieving diamond certification in the United States. Hit singles “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal” propelled the band into the spotlight, while 2006’s follow-up, The Open Door, deepened an unwavering connection with fans.
Two decades later, that connection remains as strong as ever. In 2025, Evanescence reached a new career milestone, scoring their first #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Afterlife,” written for Netflix’s Devil May Cry. The band continued its momentum, with collaborations alongside K.Flay and Halsey featured in Ballerina, the fifth installment in the John Wick series. Amy scored another #1 with “End of You,” her collaboration with Poppy & Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox.
In early June, the band will embark on its World Tour, headlining amphitheaters, and arenas in North America, followed by an arena tour in the UK, Europe, and will head to Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America in 2027.
