Are you ready for a night of brain-scrambling?! The success of Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee continues with live shows planned in Brisbane (October 17), Melbourne (October 24) and Sydney (November 7) as comedians attempt to spell words while being relentlessly distracted – making for a night of unpredictable yet joyful nonsense, live on stage.
Chaos and curveballs from Guy will bring the laughs as special guest comedians are taken off course in the most hilarious ways while they attempt to spell impossibly tricky words.
Born during lockdown, the Guy Mont-Spelling Bee has evolved from live streamed video calls into live shows in increasingly bigger venues and even an ABC TV show that is now into its second season after the premiere drew a record number of viewers.
Guy said, “I would like to tell the world a secret. Spelling Bee was a live show long before it was anywhere near a television studio and it remains the most fun I’ve had on stage. The energy, the idiocy, the knowledge none of it will ever be broadcast on terrestrial tv make it such an electric night. I cannot wait for these shows.”
