Set for this Saturday, February 22nd at Accor Stadium, this milestone concert marks Mayday’s sixth visit to Australia but their first-ever stadium performance in the country. In an unprecedented logistical feat, the band is transporting 60 containers of cutting-edge equipment to deliver their most ambitious production yet, making it the largest-scale concert setup ever brought to Australia by an Asian act.

“This tour represents Mayday at our technical and creative peak,” says Ashin. “We’re bringing the complete ‘5525’ experience to ensure our Australian audience gets the same spectacular show we’ve presented worldwide. Our 25th-anniversary tour has broken records for technical production and special effects, and we’re bringing every element to Sydney.”

The concert at Accor Stadium represents a significant upgrade in venue size for the band. Monster, the band’s guitarist, expressed both excitement and nervous anticipation, while bassist Masa added, “We’re thrilled to perform in such a grand venue, making it easier for our Australian fans to see us without traveling to Asia. Though the size of the venue is somewhat daunting, we’re ready for this challenge.”

In preparation for the show, Mayday has already established a presence in Australia with their pop-up exhibition at Westfield Chatswood (Level 3, NSW Australia), featuring the band’s collectible figurines and creating a vibrant fan zone that has become a popular photo spot for supporters.
