Following its celebrated 2025 debut, New Year’s at the Bowl returns to Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the surrounding Kings Domain gardens on 31 December, bringing three stages of music to the heart of Melbourne for New Year’s Eve.
Presented by Live Nation, the festival returns for its second year with Major Lazer leading a wide-ranging lineup alongside Don West, DJ Seinfeld (Live), Flight Facilities (DJ), CC:DISCO!, Helena Hauff, Todd Terje (DJ) and more. PBS FM’s Milo Eastwood will host and soundtrack The Bowl throughout the day, while a special guest still to be announced will take the festival through the midnight countdown.
Limited earlybird GA tickets starting from $169.90 + fees will be available in a presale beginning Monday 7 September at 12pm AEST and running until Tuesday 8 September at 12pm AEST. Sign up to access presale tickets now at nyatthebowl.com.au.

The festival will take fans from afternoon sun into the early hours of 2027, with music running until 1.30am across three distinct stages nestled amongst Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Kings Domain. Fans can expect The Bowl to deliver main-stage scale, Garden to move through live music, soul and disco, and the 360-degree Sundial to push into deeper club sounds.
At the top of the bill, Major Lazer play their first Australian show since 2015, bringing one of modern dance music’s most recognisable catalogues to The Bowl. Founded by Diplo, the group now comprises Diplo, Walshy Fire, Ape Drums and America Foster, who joined in 2025 as the group’s first full-time vocalist. Across a career spanning more than 15 years, Major Lazer have produced global hits including “Lean On”, “Cold Water” and “Light It Up”.
