Our Top 8 AESPA Songs – K-Pop Article

Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning, otherwise known as AESPA are coming to Australia for the very first time as part of their 2024 LIVE TOUR, Synk: Parallel Line, associated with their first studio album ‘Armageddon’.

Known for their cool themes, sufficient raps, impressive vocals and powerful vibes, in preparation for their upcoming visit to our country, we’ve prepared a list of our Top 8 AESPA songs.

8. Our pick for number 8 is ‘Girls’. It’s fierce, it’s empowering, its use of dragons in its music video are aesthetically pleasing, and there’s even fight choreography and a dance break! This is one AESPA song that everyone must take notice of.

7. With the same title as AESPA’s latest release, ‘Armageddon’ has a clever play on words with “I’mma get ‘em”, as well as catchy lines such as “Bang chitty bang bang” and “Aw wayo, wayo, wayo”. This track is one that you won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

6. The AESPA members are actually super cute and playful in ‘Spicy’. The melody and line, “’Cause I’m too spicy for your heart” is infectious as it is irresistible. This is definitely one of AESPA’s best songs.

5. One of AESPA’s newest songs, ‘Supanova’ is smart, it’s wacky, it’s experimental, it’s catchy as hell and it happily makes our list at number 5.

4. ‘Drama’ is our favourite AESPA music video, hands down, practically an epic short film due to how action-packed and dramatic it really is. From burning vehicles, hanging off buildings, wielding swords, to mesmerising everyone with their captivating choreography, the real seller of ‘Drama’ is actually in its hook. Just try to resist the line “Drama-ma-ma-ma”, I dare you!

3. ‘Savage’ is an epic tune from AESPA that needs to be on every AESPA tour setlist. This song has been a beacon for many K-Pop listeners into becoming AESPA fans. The vocals in this track are unmatched with AESPA not only displaying their awesome rap skills but their jaw-droppingly flawless vocal range.

2. Even if you don’t follow AESPA or listen to K-Pop, you’d recognise ‘Next Level’ just by its opening notes. It’s that iconic. Plus, the break down change-up at the middle of the song is undeniably innovative. Need I say more?

1. ‘Black Mamba’ is fierce, has their signature fantasy-futuristic vibes, it’s fantastic and is the pinnacle of our AESPA list. One cannot go past the song that started it all for these K-Pop girls.
