AUSSIE COMEDIAN TEDDY RETURNS WITH NEW
LIVE SHOW TAKING AIM AT SUBURBS NATIONWIDE
- TEDDY HITS THE ROAD WITH HIS BRAND NEW STAND UP COMEDY SHOW – PERFORMING IN SYDNEY, BRISBANE, MELBOURNE, AND PERTH.
- TEDDY AND MG LIVE PRESALES WILL BEGIN FROM WEDNESDAY 10AM LOCAL TIME.
- TICKETS ON SALE THIS FRIDAY AT 11 AM LOCAL TIME.
Popular Australian comedian and viral content creator Teddy, also known online as Tedsthetics, is taking his signature comedic style offline and back on the road with his brand-new live show – Welcome to Australia.
Best known for his brutally honest takes on Australian suburbs, culture and everyday life, paired with his signature ‘You can’t change my mind’ rants, Teddy has amassed 1.2 million followers and more than 30 million monthly views – making him a bona fide comedy powerhouse.
His new live show will be a mix of stand-up comedy inspired by his viral suburb observations and personal stories. He’ll even dish out fresh takes on every city he visits – no one on the tour is safe.
“I’ve visited a lot of suburbs and eventually you realise that we’ve all grown up the same. The tour is called Welcome to Australia because I want to show that we’re much more alike than we are different – no matter where you’re from. It feels like everyone has been raised from the same Australian playbook,” Teddy explains.
The Welcome to Australia Tour kicks off at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday 30 January, before heading to Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Saturday 31 January, Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre on Friday 6 February, and the Astor Theatre in Perth on Saturday 7 February.
A Teddy and MG Live presale will begin at 10am local on Wednesday 17 September, before the general public on sale starts Friday 19 September at 11am local.
Tickets are expected to sell out. Secure your spot by signing up now for MG Live presale access via mglive.co/teddy-presale.
“I feel great about getting back on the road and I can’t wait. All I see is data, be it likes comments or views. So, to see people on tour and get that live feedback and laughter will be absolutely amazing,” said Teddy.
